The Art of Living - Kitchens

Kitchens are the heart of the home...

they are designed for us to enjoy "The Art of Living".

Designing kitchens is one of the most exciting and detailed creations to experience. The design is not just about the aesthetics of the space but it is mostly about the way in which we live. It should not only look good but it should function with the way we live everyday and at any moment that we are in our homes.

When you think about your kitchen designed, do you stop to think about the details of how you use your kitchen? How do you cook? Do you mostly bake, broil, fry or grill? This will determine the best hood ventilation for your kitchen. Do you cook for a family of 2 or 7 daily? This might determine the layout and flow of your kitchen. Do you or your family members have allergies? Then finding cabinets that are totally green in design would be important when it comes to allergies. What views do you have or want from your kitchen? What views do you want looking into your kitchen? What happens during meal preps? Is there normally one chef or do you enjoy cooking with two or more chefs in your kitchen? Would you like a lounge area instead of a dining area in your kitchen? These are details that solely come from your personal lifestyle. These are details of kitchen design that allow us to enjoy The Art of Living.

FOR LOVERS OF DESIGN,
THIS KITCHEN IS THE NEW BLACK.

~it's a tree story.

Black Beauty.....

The Black Line is one of my favorite kitchen designs. It's beauty all begins with the concept of nature and green living. A kitchen that is made of genuine solid wood, and the wooden surfaces are finished with pure natural oil. This all keeps the wood free from harmful substances and retains its antibacterial properties, creating the perfect environment for hygienic food storage.

Did you know that wood also has natural antistatic properties, which naturally reduces household dust. It helps to regulate humidity and absorb odors, this all contributing to a healthy and pleasant environment.

Matt black coloured glass combined with fine smoked glass and matt black handles and plinths are the ingredients for the black line kitchen’s elegant appearance. Solid wood hides behind the cool elegance of the black surfaces, giving the kitchen warmth and stability.

Open and closed design elements made from pure solid wood refine the design of the kitchen. They help to create a more relaxed and cosy atmosphere. With their smoked glass doors, these pieces are almost like glass cabinets in which you can put your favourite items on display.
